SxS Made in 19th Century in Belgium
Here we present an antique Belgian Double Barrel Side by Side Percussion Shotgun, manufactured circa the mid-1800s in Liege, Belgium. During this era, there were many English and Belgian gunmakers who were capitalizing on the eager markets in the United States. This piece was shortened to a handier length with 19 ¾” barrels.
The overall condition is very good. Patina with some old varnish from a later period. The actions are strong. The bores are smooth and patinated. The stock shows much use and remains solid. The case exterior shows much use. The interior has been customized for this shotgun.
