H. Aston Percussion Pistol fitted with a 8½ inch smooth bore barrel (with no visible stamps), brass front sight blade, brass hardware, trigger guard, and grip frame, and built over a walnut stock. Only stamps visible on the lock are "MIDD TN" , "CONN", & "1842". Is missing its loading lever and attaching hardware. The pistol is in good condition, with many repairs of the stock and many personalized scratching/carvings. The bore is rough, as is the nipple, but the action functions well. Would make a great wall hanger or a candidate for a shadow box. ANTIQUE FIREARM
