For offer is a rare and highly collectible Irwin-Pedersen M1 Carbine with original sling and ammo pouch, one of the most elusive production variants from World War II. Manufactured in early 1943, this carbine represents one of the lowest production runs among all U.S. government-issued M1 Carbines, with fewer than 3,500 units completed before Irwin-Pedersen’s contract was cancelled and taken over by Saginaw Steering Gear.
This example is in excellent condition. It is a must-have for any serious collector of U.S. WWII arms.

Irwin-Pedersen struggled to meet Ordnance Department standards during their short contract. As a result, few rifles were ever fully accepted, and the contract was ultimately reassigned to Saginaw. Surviving IP carbines are among the rarest and most desirable M1 Carbines on the market today.
