Description:
Rare and highly collectible Johnson Model 1941 Semi-Automatic Rifle, Dutch Contract variant, chambered in .30-06 Springfield, in investment grade condition. This exceptional piece is one of the scarcest iterations of the Johnson 1941, produced under Dutch military contract before the U.S. entry into World War II.

Originally intended for the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army, these rifles were part of a small batch diverted to the U.S. Marine Corps and other units when the Dutch East Indies fell to Japanese forces. Surviving examples — particularly those in this pristine condition (like this one) — are incredibly rare and represent a peak collectible for WWII arms investors.

Key Features:
  • Caliber: .30-06 Springfield
  • Condition: Investment Grade — outstanding original parkerized finish (98%+), with bright, clean metal throughout
  • Stock: Beautiful, original walnut stock with minimal handling wear
  • Barrel: Excellent bore — bright with sharp rifling
  • Markings: Clear Dutch military marks (star) and Cranston Arms Co. “triangle” stamp
  • Action: Functions perfectly — smooth cycling, strong bolt hold, and correctly timed rotary magazine
Dutch Contract Johnson rifles are significantly rarer than the standard U.S.-issue models, with far fewer produced and even fewer surviving in this level of condition. This rifle is suitable for inclusion in any advanced WWII or semi-auto military rifle collection and offers serious investment potential given its historical significance and scarcity.

There will be a $45 added for shipping.
