Description:
Winchester Model 1886 Rifle 40-82 cal, Bore Exc looks like new, Mech Exc, Wood stock is excellent and the forearm has a couple small dings on the right side but is really nice with good fit to the metal. Has a original 26” oct barrel with excellent address and caliber markings and has original sights rear buckhorn sight has been lowered also has sharp edges . The receiver has the model 1886 marking on the top tang and the bottom tang has the Serial# 91057 mfg’d 1894 as well as the patent date markings. The receiver also has traces of case colors on both sides mostly turned nickel and the bolt has original blue finish . Metal overall has an aged brown patina finish and some pitting on the tip of the buttplate.
