Description:
20 ga., 26 1/2" barrels choked skeet and improved cylinder with bright excellent bores. The barrels retain most original blue with some normal carry wear. The tapered rib is matted with some minor engraving at its rear, the breeches with lightly engraved bands as well. The frame and lockplates retain most of their original color case-hardening with loose open flowing scroll and floral bouquets. The long tang triggerguard is neatly engraved as well and retains much original blue, the front trigger is articulated. The straight grip checkered European walnut buttstock has upgraded wood with light handling marks from the years and some very nice grain. It features nice dropper points and a wraparound checkering pattern and has an oval silver monogram plate along the toeline. The splinter forend is in a similar state of condition, also with a nice wraparound checkering pattern. The length of pull to the checkered butt is 14 5/8" with drops of 1 3/8" and 2 1/4". Lockup is tight with the top lever still right of center. A quality 20 bore for upland game. 6lbs 4oz
