For your consideration is a beautiful, mint-condition Colt Series 70 1911A1 chambered in 45 ACP. This pistol was made in 1979 and is unique as that same year the Series 70 Colt's changed their serial number from a G code to a B. This is an early 1979 gun with the G code serial number. The bluing is in Excellent-condtion and original factory with only minor marks. The grips show no signs of damage or wear. The box is original and matched to the pistol but shows signs of handling and storage. This is a perfect addition to any 1911 or Colt collection. They don't make them like this anymore.
