Description: General Specs: Parker, c1988, 12 Gauge, 6lbs. 10oz., Chokes M/F; IC/M, LOP 14 5/8", DAH 2 1/4", DAC 1 5/16" Serial Number: 12-00832 Parker Reproductions are for those who want a modern technology gun that is distinctly Parker. Faithful to the original design, the workmanship is impeccable, and the guns retain the dependability and handling characteristics so loved by owners of vintage Parkers. With modern steels and manufacturing techniques the Parker Reproduction is a wonderfully made gun designed for generations of use. The 12ga. guns were only produced 1988-1989 with 1800 total 12ga. DHE’s made, and only a handful as two-barrel sets. This gun, sn12-00832, is a two-barrel set with outstanding, and surprising, handling characteristics. Weighing only 6lbs. 10oz. with the 26″ barrels and 6lbs. 11oz. with the 28″ barrels and balanced perfectly between the hands, this is a true featherweight American classic side by side shogun you can carry all day without fatigue. It is VERY UNCOMMON TO FIND A 12GA. DOUBLE IN THAT WEIGHT CLASS! The beautiful walnut stocks are highly figured and show as new with only a few light safe marks. The stock is finished with a perfectly installed skeleton plate with widows peak and hand chiseled screws. The mechanics of the gun are perfect, as are the bores, screws, engraving, checkering, and metal, THE GUN APPEARS AS A NEW, UNFIRED GUN, look over the detailed photographs and you will see there are no primer marks on the breech face. The ejectors are timed, and the hinge and action are as tight-as-new with the lever Right of Center. The 2-barrel set has IC/M chokes (26”) and M/F chokes (28”) and represents a versatile Parker Reproduction that will do well for any of your shot gunning endeavors, either afield or at the local club crushing clays. This is an investment grade firearm that can be used and enjoyed for decades to come. Being a modern Parker, it is a go-to gun for your upland and clay target shooting enjoyment. Capable of shooting the heaviest of 2 3/4″ modern shells, INCLUDING STEEL OR OTHER HARD SHOT IN THE 26″ BARRELS ONLY (because of choke…no steel or other hard shot through full chokes), no special considerations are required when buying ammunition. There are many soft, non-toxic shells for the 28” barrels that are awesome for waterfowl or locations requiring non-toxic pellets. The set comes in the original Parker Reproduction case including a canvas and leather slipcover and all accessories. Thanks for looking!
