Scarce Winchester -Cooey model 840 single shot shotgun, Winchester purchased the H.W. Cooey company Ontario, Canada in 1967 they made the model 840 in canada for 12 years, Early guns had checkered walnut stock and forearm And steel parts were used, This gun is 12 Ga. with 30 inch full choke barrel ,Break open, Bluing and bore are excellent, Right side of receiver has Made by Winchester- Western Canada Limited engraved and left side has Cooey Model 840 Made in Canada engraved, Stock and forearm are excellent, Guns were made by Winchester from 1967-1979, Very well made shotguns, Over all excellent condition. Very scarce gun to find. Only one I have ever seen.
