Springfield Armory M1 Garand CMP 30-06 24” – Excellent Condition

Offered for sale is an M1 Garand, Caliber .30-06, manufactured by Springfield Armory, serial number 1039098, placing original receiver production in December 1942. This rifle appears to have been professionally refurbished by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) as part of their Special Grade offering.

  • Receiver: Springfield Armory, Serial #1039098, Production December 1942
  • Barrel: Springfield Armory, dated 10-50 (October 1950), Korean War-era
  • Stock: New production CMP walnut stock and handguards, crisp CMP eagle cartouche
  • Metal Finish: Professionally parkerized by CMP – uniform and clean throughout
  • Bore Condition: Bright and sharp rifling
  • Action: Smooth and properly functioning
  • Markings: Correct Springfield Armory receiver markings, "SA" barrel markings, proof stamp “P”
