The Tristar Upland Hunter is a Turkish-made over-under shotgun designed for the field with premium looks at an affordable price. The shotgun, chambered for 2 ¾" 12 gauge shells, has a set of chrome-lined 28" barrels, perfect for longevity in the elements and easy barrel cleaning. The barrels are threaded to accept Beretta/Benelli Mobil chokes and include an improved cylinder choke installed in the top barrel and an improved modified choke in the bottom. The barrels are topped with a checkered vented rib with a high-visibility red fiber optic front sight for easy, quick target acquisition. The Upland Hunter has a classy appearance with a pistol grip stock and slight Schnabel-style forend made of Turkish walnut. The wood is finished in a light stain and has a high-gloss finish. Both the pistol grip and forend have laser-cut split chevron texturing. The stock wears a vented rubber buttpad for less felt recoil. The steel receiver has a matte finish and laser engravings on either side and on the locking lever. This shotgun uses a single-piece extractor and single selective trigger. This Tristar Upland Hunter is in very good condition. The barrels are clean with no rust or pitting. The receiver and barrel finishes are very good. The wood does show some wear with some chips on the front of the forend and scratches and checking on the stockâparticularly on the bottom surface. The gun fits tightly, though, and operates perfectly. This shotgun does not include a case or box, and only includes the two installed chokes. 12 Gauge
