R. Patrick & Co. percussion rifle/shotgun combination. Shotgun is 12 bore, rifled barrel is .44 caliber. Barrel length is 30". Overall length is 46". Rifle barrel has an adjustable set trigger. The Island locks are beautifully engraved as are the cocks, lower and upper Tangs, buttplate. The stock is excellent, and the checkering is excellent also. The barrel silver Inlaid “London" with flourishes. Rear sight has three leaves. Front sight is silver. The right side of the buttstock has a patchbox of German silver and the lower part of the stock has a cap box near the toe. Gun weights 10lbs 13 oz. This is a well made and very substantial gun!
