Payment Types Accepted: Description: A popular side-by-side built in Spain, the Aguirre y Aranzabal (AYA) Yeoman is loved by many for its affordable price point and robust, rugged action. With many Yeomans seeing use in the hands of shooters young and old on the target range and in the field, these Spanish shotguns have managed to withstand the wear and tear of the outdoors for several decades since their introduction in the 1960s. The Yeoman is a boxlock shotgun built in Spain with the intent to build a cheap, shotgun that anyone could use for a long time and for a multitude of purposes—A Swiss Army Knife of side-by-sides, in a sort of way. The shotgun features double triggers and a simple single-piece extractor. The receiver was originally color case-hardened, but much of the original colo This particular unit was built in 1980 and is chambered for 12 gauge 2 ¾" shells and has a set of 28" barrels. These barrels have fixed chokes: a fixed full choke in the left and a fixed modified choke in the left. The barrels are joined by a solid checkered wide rib with single brass bead. The barrels do ring fairly well when stuck, indicating the solders inside the barrel are in fairly good condition. This Yeoman has a set of checkered hardwood furniture, with a thin, light Splinter-style forend and a straight English-style stock with plastic buttplate. The gun is in fair condition. The gloss finish on the wood is faded on most of the stock. The checkering has smoothed out quite a bit. But, there is no major damage to the wood furniture. The barrels are in good condition with no rust or pitting inside. The outside surface, however has some light pitting in the last 12" of the barrel along the bottom and right side. In its current condition, the gun would certainly be shootable, but could use a refinish and some treatment to the barrel's outside surface. This Yeoman does not include a case or box. 12 Gauge Price: Was $449.99 Now $289.77 Chambers: 2 3/4 Metal Condition: Fair Wood Condition: Fair Bore Condition: Good Barrels: 28 Triggers: Double Stock Dimensions: 13 1/4" LOP Fore End: "Checkered hardwood, splinter-style Butt Pad: Plastic buttplate Weight: 6 lbs 11 oz Sights: Wide checkered target rib with single brass bead Chokes: "Fixed full choke (left barrel), fixed modified choke (right barrel) Item Location: Kearney, NE |
