CALL OR TEXT ME TODAY AT 304-550-2255 AND LETS MAKE A DEAL! -Nick Dalporto Circa 1859-1864, this matched pair of German Schilling Suhl dueling pistols are in very high, original condition. We would call this Collector Grade. Being a matched pair, the pistols have the same serial number on the takedown pins, as well as the tools in the case as shown. We have asked everywhere we know, high and low, and even asked the Schilling family in Germany. Nobody has ever seen a set of Schilling dueling pistols that we know of. The guns are masterpieces. Obviously all of the work was done by hand, and they are extremely lightweight. The pistols amazingly have adjustable rear sights from 161 years ago. Approximately 80% original blue remains on both guns. One gun has a small chip in the hammer that doesn't affect function. The case appears to have real gold inlay on the lid, with game scenes and forest scenes being what was inlaid in gold. The case includes the original key, and also there are caps and bullets in the case as well, no doubt they are original. Many more pictures available upon request, limited to 20 on this site. In person inspection available by appointment only. There is much more to the story of these guns, call me at 304-550-2255 and I'll be happy to share, as it's quite a bit to type.
