vintage Iver Johnson Safety Automatic Revolver chambered in .32 S&W, featuring a rare 2-inch barrel, nickel finish, and 5-shot cylinder. This top-break revolver is a compact, double-action/single-action pocket pistol designed in the early 20th century for reliable concealed carry.
This is not a Bulldog model — this is a true Safety Automatic, confirmed by the serial number B32137, which dates it to approximately 1910–1915. This revolver features the upgraded smokeless powder-safe Third Model frame, complete with Iver Johnson’s patented “Hammer-the-Hammer" transfer bar safety, making it safe to carry fully loaded — a rare innovation for its era.

Historical Note:
Iver Johnson’s Safety Automatic revolvers were one of the first carry-safe pocket revolvers of their time. The top-break design with automatic ejector made for fast reloading, while the internal safety bar prevented accidental discharges. The 2\" barrel variant seen here is notably scarce and was marketed as a deep-concealment “vest pocket" or “banker’s special" model during the early 1900s. These revolvers are highly collectible as examples of America’s early personal defense firearms.
