Presented here is a beautiful custom dangerous game rifle built by the highly regarded builder, Harry Creighton of Nashville, Tennessee in 1964. This .458 Winchester Magnum rifle is composed of a 1903 Springfield action, with a 25" Douglas heavy barrel, a Lyman peep sight, and custom French walnut stock. The breathtakingly beautiful French walnut stock was hand-crafted by renowned stockmaker Hal Hartley of Lenoir, N.C. The rifle weighs 10 pounds even and has a LOP of 13 7/8" to a checkered steel butt plate. The bluing and rifle stock are rated at 95+% with just a hint of scattered superficial handling marks. This rifle has never been hunted and its' now second (7 year) owner has fired 5 rounds of Woodleigh 500 grain, soft nose bullets through the firearm at the range.
