Description: SSK Magnum Pak custom limited edition Thompson Center Contender .357 Magnum, .41 Remington Magnum and .44 Remington Magnum. Made in 1978 as an intended edition size of either 200 or 300 units (depending on source), just 61 Paks (at most) were actually produced. This one is complete. Serial 78587 (SSK edition number 024) has three 10-inch barrels (tapering, recessed crowns, Mag-Na-Port, open sights, milled for mount), Metalife finish, Maxi-Mount, Herrett Controller grip and a Leupold 2x EER scope (gloss finish, Duplex reticle). Weight (with .44 Rem. Mag. barrel and optic) is 3.4 pounds. CONDITION: Bores are strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 97 percent owing primarily to a rub line on the bottom of the guard. Wood is at least 98 percent. Trigger pull is outstanding. INCLUSIONS: What appears to be the original hard case (with keys), warranty card, rear sight for the scoped barrel, T/C instructions, Leupold instructions and a photocopy of a 1988 article by Joe Wright on the edition with numbers specified are included.
