Browning Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle 45-70
This Browning 1886 was manufactured in 1986 by Miroku. It is chambered in 45-70 and has a blue 26" full octagon barrel and full magazine tube. It has standard walnut stock, crescent butt plate and semi-buckhorn rear barrel sight.
Condition:
This rifle is in excellent condition. The blue finish on the metal is in near 100% with no apparent wear. The bore is also in excellent condition and is bright with strong rifling. The walnut stocks are in excellent condition and shows no dings or scratches. The overall condition of this Browning is excellent almost like new old stock.
Here is another Browning 1886 rifle that was either never used or very lightly used but well taken care of. As I have said in another Browning 1886 GI listing, these Browning 1886 rifles were made in 1986. As such they do not have that wretched tang safety or the silly rebounding hammer common today. These Browning 1886 rifles and carbines are very well made and traditional just like original Winchester rifles and carbines. Made in modern steel the Browning/Miroku are hard to beat. This rifle comes without a box
