32715- REVOLUTIONARY WAR BRITISH FLINTLOCK OFFICER’S PISTOLS BY WILLIAM RICHARDS OF LONDON. 12 ½” o/a with 7 ½” smoothbore round .65 caliber barrels with London proofs at left breech and engraved “LONDON” at center breech. Locks engraved in floral script “RICHARDS”. Walnut stocks with bag shaped grips and engraved steel trigger guards with acorn finials and steel ramrod pipes. Brass tip rosewood ramrods. Excellent all original condition with all the original parts and screws on superior condition. Perfect working order and excellent bores. William Richards made guns at Butcher’s Row as early as 1774 and later in Birmingham until the early to mid 1780’s. Extra nice all original pair. $2900.
