32719-ORNATLY GOLD DECORATED PERSIAN MIQUELET LOCK HOLSTER PISTOL CIRCA EARLY 1700’S. 19” o/a with 13” heavily gold inlaid barrel lock with maker signature on underside of frizzen spring also in gold. Inlays feature various figures of soldiers and falconers in full costume over full length of barrel Lock with profuse gold damascene work of the highest order. Walnut half stock with ornate gold floral inlay over the entire length. Lanyard ring on butt cap. Working order and excellent all original condition overall. The most ornate Persian Miquelet Pistol we have seen. $6500.
