32782-SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1903 A1 1903-A1 1903A1 .30-06 CAL. NATIONAL MATCH RIFLE DATED 11-29. All original and matching and serial numbered in the 1,361,xxx range amongst a large number of National Match 1903’s listed in the Springfield Research Service Vol. 2, page 113. Barrel stamped behind front sight “SA/ORDNANCE BOMB/11-29”. Bolt serial numbered as well. Star Gauge barrel and stock serial numbered on belly forward of rear sling swivel as it should be on this series of National Match 1903’s. Stock stamped with unit mark “PSP/D1” and floor plate and magazine well tang both stamped “DIB”. Finest 1903A1 National Match we have ever seen with all the original dark Parkerizing and all the wood finish. Perfect tight working order and near new mint bore. Scarce and a really superior example from an old post WW2 collection. $5500.
