32779-EXCEPTIONAL WW2 WWII PRE D-DAY REMINGTON U.S. MODEL 1903-A4 SNIPER RIFLE DATED 3-44 WITH ORIG. M84 SNIPER SCOPE. Scarce “Z” prefix serial range seen on Remington sniper 1903-A4 rifles. 100% original and matching and in near new condition. Has all the original Parkerized metal finish and the matching wood has all the finish as well. Side panel with Ordnance sub-inspectors stamp “OG EK”. Butt stamped on left with rectangular “RIA/EB” stock maker’s stamp. Grip with circled “P” proof stamp to rear of trigger guard. Barrel stamped behind front sight slot “R.A./ORDNANCE BOMB/3-44”. Excellent M84 scope which was introduced in early 1944 as well. As new working order with mint bore. Scope optics clear as new and in perfect working order ad well. Best example we have had. Extra nice from an old collection formed in the 1950’s-70’s. $5850.
