32664 CIVIL WAR INDIAN WARS MAYNARD 2ND MODEL .59 CAL. CENTERFIRE CONVERSION SADDLE RING CARBINE. All original excellent condition Maynard Cavalry carbine 1870’s conversion from percussion. Frame with “EDWARD MAYNARD/PATENTEE/MAY 27,1851/DEC 6, 1859” stamp. Wrist of stock with two U.S. Ordnance cartouches. 20” smoothbore barrel with “S” sub-inspector’s stamp. Original front and rear sights. Retains most of the original blue with light patina and all the original stock finish. Excellent overall and nice bore. Perfect working order. $1400.
