FANCY CUSTOM SHILOH 1874 HARTFORD MODEL, .45-70 CAL. This is a particularly handsome Shilioh Sharps that I custom ordered and sold to a friend. I believe he shot it once or twice. He no longer shoots and is selling all his guns. This one features hand selected semi-fancy walnut that is not far off extra fancy in the butt stock, 30" heavy octagon barrel with semi-buckhorn rear sight, spirit level globe front sight that will take inserts and a mid-range vernier tang sight adjustable for elevation. It also has a checkered steel shotgun butt plate, double set triggers, pewter forend tip, Hartford collar on the barrel, and brass escutcheons around the screws. Near new inside and out. The current catalog price with federal excise tax and a 2 1/2 year backorder wait etc. on this one would be around $4200. Sale price $3600.
