32741-INDIAN WARS SPENCER U.S. MODEL 1865 CAVALRY CARBINE. Used during Civil War as well. 20” barrel .50 Spencer Rimfire cal. stamped on top of frame “SPENCER REPEATING /RIFLE CO. BOSTON MASS/PATD MARCH 6. 1860. All original early production pre Stabler Cut-Off. Type carried by Custer’s Cavalry in Texas and Oklahoma in the late 1860’s. Very good with nice bore and tight working order. Wood loss on forend and top of wrist. Colorful all original at a reasonable price. $1900.
