32768- CIVIL WAR TOWER ENFIELD PATTERN 1853 P1853 TWO-BAND .577 CAL. RIFLE DATED 1863. 33” barrel with export proofs at breech and with saber bayonet lug at right muzzle. Lock stamped “1863/TOWER”. Excellent and all complete and matching including the ramrod. Metal with original brown and patina mixed. Stock with all the finish. Working order and excellent rifling. Extra nice all original example of the type used by both sides during the Civil War. Nicest two-band Enfield we have had in several years. $2600.
