32772- H.E. LEMAN LANCASTER, PA. PERCUSSION INDIAN TRADE RIFLE CA. 1840. 44” o/a with 29” rifled .45 caliber octagon barrel. Lock plate stamped “H.E. LEMAN/LANCASTER, PA.”. Double set trigger and original wood ramrod. Tiger maple stock with brass mounts. Toe of stock chipped. All original trade quality rifle by the largest supplier of rifles for the Indian trade during the Fur Trade era and beyond. Handsome thought well used with nice old patina on metal and the original finish on the wood. Working order and rifling still well defined. $1300.
