Description:
Rare only about 7000 of these 1872 Colt Open Tops were manufactured. Most of them seen hard use, majority had their barrels cut, or both. This is an original example that still has it's original 7 1/2" barrel. 44 Rimfire, average bore. Action functions as it should. Cylinder still shows a fair amount of it's cylinder scene. Grips are in good condition and appear to be a grade higher than the standard walnut. Numbers match: barrel, frame, trigger guard, cylinder, and back strap. No number on wedge. Overall finish is a gray patina, appears to have been cleaned years ago. All in all a super rare Colt Revolver offered at a reasonable price. I offer a layaway plan and I will consider trades.
