The top of the frame ring is marked "RUGER NO1" while the bottom left side of the frame has the rifle's serial number. The rifle is fitted with a serrated sliding tang safety. The American walnut buttstock is fitted with a pistol grip, grip cap with golden Ruger Logo, borderless point pattern checkering and stud for sling on the toe line.
