"Serial No. BE7674, manufactured in 1953, chambered in 7.62x54R with a 20 ½" round barrel. Bore is good overall, exhibiting light frosting and oxidation within the grooves, with strong rifling still present. Serial numbers are matching throughout. Import mark is visible on the left side of the receiver. The stock shows typical handling and storage marks and has been lightly varnished post-service. Action cycles smoothly and functions properly. A representative example of a Cold War-period Hungarian M44 carbine.
