32906 INDIAN WARS SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1884 .45-70 CAL. TRAPDOOR CARBINE. All original and matching in very good plus condition. Nice markings with lock stamped “EAGLE” and “US/SPRINGFIELD”. Barrel proofed at breech “V/P/EAGLE HEAD”. Original Buffington rear sight. Stock stamped “45” and “US” on left butt. Metal with medium grey patina. Stock lightly cleaned and varnished. Very tight working order and good bore with light pitting. Well defined rifling. $1500.
