32212- FRENCH MODEL 1816 FLINTLOCK ARTILLERY MUSKET. 40” round .69 cal. barrel. Date stamped at left breech “C de 18” with Royal Ordnance proofs. Stock with round inspection cartouche on right butt. Original flint and not a reconversion. Good overall with wear and lock missing two screws and does not hold on cock. Ramrod a modern correct type replacement. Nice looking and original at a very reasonable price. Looks very much like the French Model 1777 used in the American Revolution at a fraction of the price. $750.
