32902 CASED PAIR OF PERCUSSION OFFICERS PISTOLS BY HAMBERGER & CO. OF LONDON, INDENTIFIED TO AN OFFICER OF THE FIRST LIFE GUARDS, CIRCA 1845-55. .54 caliber 8" octangonal smoothbore damascus barrels signed "London". Locks signed "Hamberger & Co". Light scroll engraving on the locks and steel mounts. Casehardened breeches, locks and hammers. Walnut checkered full length stocks with stirrupped steel ramrods. Much original finish remains except the barrels which have been re-browned during their period of usege. Hammer safety on one pistol missing. Original red velvet lined mahogany case with brass campaign handle lid engraved with the owner's crest and engraved 'JTC/ 1st Life Guards". Also accompanied by their original accessories including cap-tin, mold, cleaning rod, key and roun balls.
