Description:
Half stock 20" carbine in high condition as restored, with English proof marks "375 Express" aka 9.5x56MS. Blond stock has a fresh and expert satin oil finish with schnabel forend and rear stud. Barrel band front stud. Metal has close to 100% fresh rust blue, showing some light pitting under the finish on the bottom metal. Working double set trigger. Bore is bright with strong rifling with some washout ahead of the chamber. Original sights and buttplate. Nicely engraved screws, obviously English work. What a lovely brush rifle!
