Payment Types Accepted: Description: Introduced in 1963 and still in limited production today, the Model 1100 from Remington is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun appropriate for a variety of applications. The shotgun has proven to be an extremely reliable shotgun with simple controls, making it extremely popular with shotgunners for many years. The 1100 was one of the earliest autoloading shotguns to have a more modern aesthetic without the "humpback" shape as seen on the Remington 11 and Browning Auto-5. This shotgun in particular is a fairly early standard 12 gauge model built sometime between 1966-1967. The barrel is able to chamber up to 2 ¾"-length shells and features a fixed full choke. The barrel has no rib, but a single large silver front bead is located at the end of the barrel and the receiver's top surface has glare-reducing engravings. The receiver also has some basic engravings decorating the sides and top of the gun, and the glossy walnut furniture has pressed checkering to offer additional grip on the forend and pistol grip of the stock, as well as adding some additional decorative flair. This 1100 has a simple plastic buttplate attached to the stock. This 1100 is in very good condition. The bluing on the receiver and barrel appear to be original and mostly intact, with smooth surfaces throughout and only a few small areas of finish wear or light surface pitting or scratches. The barrel is in perfect condition and the shotgun cycles very smoothly by hand. The shotgun also still fits together quite snugly. This Remington 1100 does not include a case or box. 12 Gauge Price: $699.99 Chambers: 2 3/4 Barrels: 28 Weight: 7 lbs 4 oz Sights: "Textured receiver, no rib, silver bead front sight Chokes: Fixed full choke Item Location: Kearney, NE |
