Description:
This Adams Civil War era 5 shot revolver was made by Mass. Arms Co. All numbers match and some were used in the War of Northern Aggression. There were only 4300 of these guns made. The design of this gun is unusual as it has a projecting ring on the front of the cylinder the prevents fouling entering the cylinder pin area. This helped to prevent the cylinder pin area from fouling up, rendering the revolver inoperable after 3 or so cylinder firings. The revolver has a safety on the left side of the frame.
