Very interesting, Colt 1st Generation SAA .45 LC. 7 1/2" bbl. Long Flute cylinder. Stunning authentic MOP grips. Letter indicates "grips not listed". Colt lure says many are recorded that way. Very. Early on users and collectors found out that you could order gun without grips. It was relatively easy to purchase them direct from manufacturer. To save money, sometimes a lot, many purchased without. Lots of interesting correspondence.
