Part of the 1890's issues this was the very first box type in .22 LR and maintained the early "1/2" designation on the yellow side label to differentiate from original 100 count boxes. In near excellent condition the primary green and black label and yellow side seal labels are intact with bright colors having some minor age soiling and slight edge flaking on the top label. The half-split box is solid excelpt for slight seam separation along the rear left top corner. The cartridges are in excellent condition. A great looking early box that's a corner stone of Winchester 22 LR collecting. Identified as WRA-3 LR-1 (b) (with the disclaimer on the bottom) in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference. Price: $495.00 |
