Description:
This rifle was made by Jim Chambers, a Western N.C. gunmaker and represents an early Lancaster Long Rifle of the 1765-1775 era. It has a .44 inch swamped barrel and is in .54 caliber. The gun has never been fired. Jim Chambers is recognized as one of the top Flintlock makers in the country. This gun has outstanding figured curly maple wood stock and has been beautifully carved in the period style by Jim. You would be very lucky to obtain a gun of this quality elsewhere at this price.
