Up for sale is a well-preserved WWII-era British Lee–Enfield No. 4 Mk I bolt-action rifle chambered in .303 British. This example retains its original military configuration and features clear British inspection and acceptance markings, including a crown stamp, broad arrow, subcontractor stamps, and an original HJ&S brass oiler in the buttstock.

The rifle is in great condition with a clean bore, solid and unmodified wood stock, and tight action. All visible parts appear correct and consistent with wartime production.

Condition:

This rifle is in great overall condition for its age. The metal has even finish and minimal wear. The wood is solid with only light handling marks. The action cycles smoothly, and the bore is in very good condition. All markings are clear and legible. No signs of sporterizing or postwar modification. A true military configuration example.
