Description:
Up for is a WWII Japanese Arisaka Type 99 bolt-action rifle, chambered in 7.7x58mm, produced by the Mukden Arsenal in Japanese-occupied Manchuria. The Mukden arsenal is among the rarest and most desirable Type 99 manufacturers, producing a relatively small number of rifles compared to arsenals like Nagoya or Kokura.

  • Model: Type 99 Arisa
  • Caliber: 7.7 Japanese
  • Arsenal: Mukden (Manchuria)
  • Serial Number:  matching
  • Condition: Sporterized – see below

This rifle has been sporterized, likely decades ago.

Despite being sporterized, it retains matching serial numbers and the rare Mukden receiver, making it a solid candidate for restoration or a unique addition to a WWII collection.

Mukden Arsenal rifles are seldom seen on the market, and even fewer come with matching numbers. This rifle is ideal for a collector interested in a rare variation or someone looking to restore a historically significant Japanese rifle.
