Sears & Roebuck Pocket Revolver Made Circa 1905
Here we present an Engraved C&R Eastern Arms Company Top Break Double Action Revolver, made circa 1905. The Eastern Arms Company was a trade name for guns sold by Sears & Roebuck and were likely manufactured by either J. Stevens Arms, Iver Johnson, Meriden Firearms, or Harrington & Richardson, whichever happened to be the lowest . This revolver was made for concealable self-defense, chambering 5 shots of .32 Centerfire. The top of the barrel rib is marked “EASTERN ARMS CO.
The overall condition is fine. Original nickel and blue finishes. Robust action. Bright, strongly rifled bore. The grips contain less than average wear and remain seated firmly. Markings are legible. Mixed numbers. “$” is stamped on the bottom of the left side of the frame. Here is a sharp little early-20th Century revolver that would be great for collecting, or on display!
