Description:
Serial #362499, .243 Win., 26" heavy barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a little-used rifle that has retained 95-97% of the original blue finish, with some mild fading on the handle and bearing surfaces of the bolt. The rifle has no sights fitted, but does feature scope blocks on the receiver bridge and barrel. All of the filler screws are still in place. The target stock has a few small handling marks and blemishes in the original varnish, and there is some minor flaking at the butt around the edges of the checkered steel buttplate. The wide beavertail forend is outfitted with an adjustable handstop, and the original swivels are present. This is an excellent example of a highly desirable Model 70 target rifle, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R;
