Available for purchase is this extremely unique pistol made by US Firearms, the Zip22! Rivaled only by pre-war Aces, the fit and finish on this 22LR-caliber semi-auto is a mundane polymer black/gray with some marks from being handled and fired. Yes, this ZiP 22 has actually been fired! However, true to form, it is doubtful that it ever has made it through a 10-round magazine without experiencing issues of one kind or another.
With a storied history, a cult-like following, and ultra-poor reliability, the short production run of the Zip22 was eclipsed only by the near-immediate closing of the USFA factory after its release. This pistol uses Ruger 10/22 magazines (not included as noted on box).
This Zip22 comes with the original box & paperwork as shown in the photos.
Also included are the following extras:
*USFA ZiP Bolt hold-open lever (left side of firearm)
*USFA ZiP barrel with metal assembly nut & thread protector for use with suppressor (1/2-28)
*USFA ZiP additional short "restrike" rod for use with suppressor
*USFA ZipSBR picatinny top rail attachment for accessories or mounting to a rifle (also for use as a registered SBR in conjunction with another rifle, should you wish to file a Form-1 on the Zip22 with ATF)
