Description:
1967-72 mfg. WINCHESTER M141 Bolt Action HUNTING/PLINKING .22 Repeater C&R

With THREE DIFFERENT MODELS within the Series

Here we present a C&R Winchester Model 141 Bolt Action .22 Caliber Rimfire Repeating Rifle, made circa 1967 to 1972 in New Haven, Connecticut. There were actually three models in this series that were manufactured between 1967-1972, plus 2 models in 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (WMR) manufactured in 1967 only. They all featured a 20.75 inch barrel, plain hardwood stocks, and weighed about 5lbs. The Model 121 bolt action single shot was available in 3 versions, those being the Model 121 Deluxe with a ramp front sight, a stock with fluted comb and sling swivels. The Model 121 Standard came with a plain Monte Carlo stock. And, the Model 121 Youth with a 1-1/4 inch shorter stock. The Model 131 was a bolt action repeater with a 7-shot magazine and a plain Monte Carlo stock. The Model 135 was chambered in 22WMR, again, only made in 1967. The Model 141 bolt action repeater, as is this example, came with tubular magazine in buttstock that loaded thru buttplate. The Model 145 was chambered in 22WMR, again, only made in 1967.

This Winchester Model 141 came with a smooth Monte Carlo style pistol grip stock and forend with a butt plate, with a butt fed tubular magazine that holds 19 Short, 15 Long, and 13 Long Rifle rounds of ammo.

The overall condition is near fine. Robust action. The bore is shiny bright with strong rifling. The stock is mostly preserved with expected use. Original blue finish. Clear markings. Here is the rifle that every 14 year old boy wanted for Christmas, that many a squirrel were taken out of the woods hunting with Dad!
