Special focus on custom contemporary muzzleloading rifles and black powder cartridge rifles. Description: This is a .50 flintlock bench/chunk rifle built by Wes Noye of the central Pennsylvania area. It has a heavy 1 1/8” straight browned octagon barrel (unknown maker). Barrel is 36” long with 1:66 twist. Bore looks pristine. It has a R.E. Davis Lock and what looks like Davis Double Set Triggers. It has a 15 3/8" LOP. Fitted with Southern Mountain Rifle style Iron furniture. Stock is a nicely figured Maple and has no butt plate or nose cap in the Poor Boy style. Very good wood to metal fit.
