Springfield Armory M1 Garand D Sniper Version
Not knowing the history of this rifle I sent it to Luke at the Civilian Marksmanship Custom Shop with instructions to check it out completely and repair or replace any parts needed to make it a top notch shooter. He did that and then some, including completely reparkerizing the entire gun. (see CMP receipt) He also sent the original M84 scope #22211 to Iron Site in Tulsa OK to be rebuilt (See Iron Site Reciept) They also test fired it and said it shoots very well. He gave me a thumbs up meaning that it met or exceeded all that we asked for. Anyone looking for a rifle to compete in the vintage matches should be very pleased with this one, especially since several of the doubts a person would have in buying a used rifle have been satisfied. It does not have a flash hider, but it does have the period leather sling. (not pictured) More pictures are available upon request.
