Description:
This is an excellent example of a rare German Kriegsmarine issue Mauser C96 pistol, chambered in desirable 9mm Para. It retains over 95% of its original blue and is complete with a Kriegsmarine marked holster with a cleaning rod and a stripper clip. Vivid fire blue on small parts. Imperial German proofmark on the right side.
Very few of the "Red 9" Mauser pistols were used by Kriegsmarine after 1933 and are highly collectible. This particular gun is all matching, including grips, and has an excellent bore. It exhibits minimal holster wear as per pictures. The holster is excellent as well and has a sharp all original KM marking on the rear.
A very difficult variation to acquire for a collector of military pistols.
