About Us: Gale River Traders was established in the early 1980’s in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We started out buying, selling, and trading at the large & frequent gun shows Colorado was known for back in the day. After relocating to New Hampshire in 1995, we established our online business, specializing in vintage gun parts, militaria, accoutrements, and related ephemera. Our goal is to provide you with quality items at reasonable prices, and moreover, to help you find that elusive part that restores your gun, or that scarce item to enhance your collection. In addition to selling, we are always open to buying & trading, and reasonable offers are always considered! Thanks for looking!

Description:
If You're a Veteran, Active-Duty Military, or Service Member's Family - Thank You!
Offered for your consideration is a rare vintage (circa 1920's) survival knife & matching leather sheath!! It has a 5" blade and hollow aluminum handle with storage compartment and threaded pommel cap. The ricasso is marked "R-G Comb'n. / Pat. / Can. 1923 / Glenrock N.J." on one side, and has an arrow-motif logo with the word "MARK" on the other. The matching leather sheath has heavy duty leather and stitching with nice tooling and is marked "H B9 5" on the back below the belt loop. This is a scarce early example of the first survival knives to be marketed to the general public. A great piece of knife-making history in very nice condition - don't miss it!
Please note that all my items are subject to sale elsewhere, so if you are interested in this knife, you should buy it sooner than later before it gets sold and removed. Reasonable offers accepted!
