Yes, folks, I am Mark Morton, the creator/producer of the original SS Honor Ring reproduction named to SS Officer Pfister, presented to him by Himmler for his participation in the Rhom purge and so dated.
The ring I had made was faithfully reproduced, cast from the original SS Honor ring named to this individual that I owned many years ago. The original of this ring was a size 13, I have a few of the larger sizes left from size 10 to 13 and the other sizes from 6 to 9, they all have all the runics around the band.
I hired a Master Jeweler to reproduce the copy, so all the size masters had the skull added after they were created. My copies are high quality to the extent that they have been represented by some dealers as an original.
All originals were cast as a flat bar. The inscription was then hand engraved, the ring then formed into the round with the skull added last and then hand tooled/finished to the final condition. These rings were made by different jewelers at the Otto Gahr firm and reflect the unique individyality of each ring produced. No two original rings are exactly alike, though all the originals have similar characteristics. At one time I had 9 mint original rings in my collection spanning from 1934 to 1944 and have owned, examined and authenticated many more. There are various sizes of this repro available, however I will not be taking orders for specific sizes at this time.
